Partnering with the offices of the County Executive, Real Property and Finance, the IDA is able to offer the most competitive of incentive packages to new and expanding businesses. This collaboration strives to create jobs of all kinds and to improve the overall quality of life for Orange County and its residents.
The Accelerator, Powered by the Orange County IDA
The Orange County Business Accelerator was brought to life through the extraordinary vision of the Orange County IDA Board. Recognizing the need for a space where young businesses could begin and grow, the IDA launched the Accelerator in 2009, opening its doors to a handful of start-up businesses looking to flourish. The Accelerator is a business incubator program offering affordable, fully-equipped high-tech office space to new businesses, and aims to guide these businesses through their first steps on the way to success. By providing assistance in marketing and business plan creation, the Business Accelerator is designed to attract new entrepreneurial investment. By creating the Accelerator, the IDA made great strides in its mission to create jobs, opportunity, and industry in Orange County.
Orange County Chamber of Commerce
The Orange County Chamber of Commerce assists both the IDA and the Business Accelerator by remaining the best resource in Orange County for businesses. From free business counseling to networking opportunities, the Orange County Chamber of Commerce is focused on keeping the business community in Orange County informed, educated and thriving.
Foreign Trade Zone
Orange County is proud to be home to Foreign Trade Zone #37. Through it, Orange County continues to encourage foreign commerce, and stimulates trade internationally.

Through tax credits, grants, loans and other types of financial assistance, Empire State Development strives to promote a vigorous and growing economy in New York State.
