Ziel is currently looking for seamstresses who want to help sew PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) for the COVID crisis.

  • Looking for people with experience in: sewing with industrial grade straight stitch and serger machines.

Experience with woven fabric only is fine.

Key Responsibilities

  • Input of marker files and rip across various printer systems.
  • Adjustments of color to hit Ziel standards within allotted tolerance levels.
  • Preparation of various fabric compositions for sublimation.
  • Oversight of printer, heat-press and cutter operations.
  • Plan and execute maintenance and independently troubleshoot and solve any technical or mechanical problems. Training will be provided.

Professional Experience / Qualifications

  • Knowledge and / or interest in digital printing, fabric composition, industrial heat-presses, and cutting systems.
  • Understanding of marker file composition, such as cut lines and registration marks.
  • Experience with .ai files and working with Adobe Photoshop is a plus
  • 2 - 4 years in the apparel, textile or digital printing industry or other related field(s).
  • Bachelor’s degree or greater in engineering or related fields.
